Recently, Padma Lakshmi shared a video of a very common thing we do while cooking in the kitchen – how we stand while cooking. One rarely thinks of one’s body posture while cooking food. We are often too engrossed in thinking about the next steps of a recipe to even wonder what we would look like while cooking food. But Padma Lakshmi has made an observation, and we can’t help but agree with her! Take a look:

In the video, we see Padma Lakshmi cooking and standing with her free hand resting on her hip. She calls herself out by asking her fans and followers, “Why do Asian women stand like this when they cook?” The video has 562k views and 25k likes (still counting).

Before this, Padma Lakshmi was in London and having all kinds of foodie adventures! She went to an Indian grocery store and decided to review all the Indian snacks. That’s not all; she even celebrated her birthday at a fancy restaurant in London.
