Indus Towers Share Price: Share price of Indus Towers jumps as Sensex gains 59.01 points

The share price of Indus Towers Ltd. gained 0.25 per cent to Rs 199.6 at 11:52AM (IST) in Wednesday’s trade. The scrip has hit a high of Rs 200.6 and low of Rs 197.65 so far during the session. The stock had closed at Rs 199.1 in the previous session.

The counter has had a total traded volume of 74386 shares so far with a value of Rs 1.48 crore on the NSE. It traded at a price-to-earnings multiple of 9.91 and a price-to-book ratio of 2.7.

A higher price-to-earnings ratio shows investors are willing to pay a higher price for per rupee earnings given by the stock because of better future growth expectations.

The firm reported consolidated net sales of Rs 6989.8 crore for the quarter ended 30-Jun-2022, down 3.26 per cent from the previous quarter’s Rs 7225.3 crore and down 1.98 per cent from the year-ago quarter’s Rs 6853.9 crore.

Profit for the latest quarter stood at Rs 477.3 crore, down 66.28 per cent from the same quarter a year ago.
