How To Make Moong Dal Parcels – A Crispy, Protein-Rich Snack To Pair With Evening Tea

Filo sheets are stuffed with a spicy and flavourful mix of moong dal, onions, turmeric and chaat masala and baked to perfection. These crispy parcels are oozing with flavours and high in protein. The best part about this recipe is that you can prepare it in just 30 minutes. Serve it with some ketchup or mint chutney and indulge in its goodness. Take a look at the recipe below: 

Moong Dal Parcels Recipe: How To Make Moong Dal Parcels 

First, wash and soak the moong dal for 20 mins. Rinse it nicely, add fresh water in a pan and let it boil. Add turmeric and boil till it’s th done. Drain the dal and pour fresh water to cool it. In a kadhai, heat canola oil, add jeera and saute. Add chopped onions, green chillies and ginger. Saute until the onions are slightly brown. Now, add dal, red chilli powder, coriander powder and salt. Cook for 3-4 minutes. Add green coriander, chaat masala and lemon juice. Stir and remove from fire. Allow to cool.
